The Process
Once the alloys are painted, we will proceed to put them in our lathe where a precise layer is shaved away; this leaves a diamond cut finish. To finish, we use a specially developed lacquer that will protect the wheel from further damage. If your wheel has received minor damage, we can offer a smart repair. You may not require a full re-cut. Using similar methods to our smart repair, Alloy Logic is able to repair diamond cut alloys without recutting your entire wheel. Once we have removed the damage, we then polish the metal, leaving the same effect as a diamond cut finish. Next, we blend some chrome special effects on the repaired area and we coat the wheels with a lacquer that is designed for polished wheels. This process is a suitable option for leased vehicles that are due for return. In addition to this, it is a cheaper alternative than the full re cut service. To save money, the diamond cut wheels can be completely painted one colour if you would prefer.
